I became a published author at 17 when a poem I wrote

was included in The Wanderings magazine. I’ve had other

poems published and will always write and enjoy poetry.

When I Was a Little Boy, by Jesus

In 2003 I self-published my first book, When I Was a Little Boy, by Jesus.  I wrote this book while pregnant with my second son, Oliver. The illustrations are done by children, ages 4 – 11.

*I won an EVVY Award for this book.

Like Jesus’ family photo album, His Each page is accompanied by scripture. TWO copies are only $20.00. INCLUDES shipping inside the US. Limited Quantities.

Fire & Ice

Hardcopy (two for $20)

eBook ($7.99)

My second book, Fire & Ice, published in 2007, evolved as the result of creating a character to help my son Tanner when he was afraid of the fire drill, as a first grader in school. Pasqual, a very small emperor penguin, helped him to act brave because, you don’t have to BE big to DO big things.

I partnered with Tate Publishing to produce this book. From this darling character, I went on to create characters from all 17 species of penguins and a program to teach children about penguins.

During an eight year period, I taught over 8,000 children to write and illustrate a 16-page book based on one of the penguins. I taught eight classes per year to groups of 30 – 300 students in each class.

Most of the children have special needs of one kind or another. It is my goal to release the 64 stories, literally inspired by children, some day.
TWO copies are only $20.00. INCLUDES shipping inside the US. Limited Quantities.

The Journey Home from Autism

6 x 9 Autographed softcover (two for $20)

eBook ($4.99)

My third book, The Journey Home from Autism, was self-published in 2010 after I formed my publishing company. This book was the result of requests from my pediatrician and many parents I had been coaching; at his office and through my personal outreach. I had been journaling our ups and downs; our successes and our failures and – most importantly – the research that led me to discover why and how my son developed autism and how to help him. I include everything we did and learned. *This book won the 1st place International INDIE Award and an EVVY Award.) My pediatrician also nominated me to the Who’s Who in the Medical Industry for my research, which was over 7,000 logged hours at that time. TWO copies are only $20.00. INCLUDES shipping inside the US. Limited Quantities. Or, download e-book instantly, only $4.99 right now.

Asperger’s Rhymes with Bass Burgers

In 2013, I published my son Oliver’s first book, Asperger’s Rhymes with Bass Burgers. He was ten years old when the title and cover image came to me in a dream. When I first shared this idea with him he wasn’t too thrilled and remarked, “Why would I want to write a book about my brother? He so annoying!”.

After we continued to talk about it he warmed up to the idea and I coached him to share both his annoying and awesome memories about his big brother Tanner. Our incredibly talented illustrator, Des Campbell, captured everything just perfect. He did such an awesome job on this book and he also illustrated the next book I produced in 2015. Download e-book instantly, only $7.99 right now. All proceeds go to Oliver, now 16 years old!
